Slootsmid has been producing row sowing injectors fo many years. The Slootsmid fertiliser set is perfect in combination with the existing maize sowing machines. From practical experience it appears that the capacity of sowing maize with slurry in one operation is just about the same as sowing maize in a conventional manner!

In recent years, various testing stations have show that under normal growing conditions, yields after slurry row application are similar if not better than after using artificial fertiliser. In other words, sagin can be made on fertiliser, as no MAP fertiliser is required. The leftover after the application of slurry can be used on other fields.
